The Story Behind

One weekend two of my grand children aged six and three were visiting. My three year old granddaughter did not want to sleep by herself, as she was afraid of the loud train noise. There are multiple trains that pass through the night in our town.

The proximity of train station means that in the dead of the night we hear the shrill noise of the train whistle. The booming sound of the approaching train and rumbling noise of the cars going on the track is loud enough to wake up the dead.

Knowing this, the three year old Maala wanted her six-year-old brother Sohun to sleep next to her on the same mattress. The six-year old brother very wisely proposed, “OK, I will make you a deal. If you don’t cry when the train passes by at midnight, I will sleep on the same mattress.” She agreed.

Well, sure enough the loud sound of the train passing by at midnight woke up Maala. She started crying. Sohun said in a very calm and firm voice, “Maala, a deal is a deal. You said you won’t cry, so stop crying.”

She said, ‘OKay'. She immediately stopped crying and quietly went back to sleep.

Isn't this what we teach our children? Once you give your word, you must keep it. You have only two choices, either you keep your promise or you lose your trust.

Knowing where one wants to go, setting the goal and focusing on it are important in order to succeed. If one can eliminate distractions and stay focused on a single goal, success is not hard to attain. Sometimes it takes a young six-year old to remind us of this. It is based on a true story.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
